African Mycological Association (New)

What is AfriMA?

The new African Mycological Association (AfriMA) promotes mycology amongst members in Africa and globally. Recent efforts by members of the AfriMA focused on reviving and developing mycological research and networking in Africa. A great deal must, however, still be done to promote the AfriMA under African mycologists, and those elsewhere with interests in Africa. AfriMA also aims to raise awareness of the importance of fungi and the need to conserve them along with international fungal conservation societies and committees.
